Training Sites
Version Releases
HelioCampus releases a new version of the Assessment platform to training sites for all Institutions on the first Monday of every other month. This allows Institutions to experience new features and complete adoption planning before the latest version is released to production sites the following calendar month.
Data Refresh
Training site data is refreshed on the first Monday of every other month (once every two months) at 2:00 AM EST to copy and match the production site data. This is done to ensure current training site data for an Institution’s training and testing purposes. Institutions can opt out of the training site data refresh on a per-release basis by submitting a ticket through the Support Portal no later than the 25th of the month before the next scheduled refresh. For example, to opt out of the training site data refresh scheduled for 2/05/2024, a support ticket must be submitted on or before 1/25/2024. When submitting a support ticket to opt out of the training site data refresh, select Admin Tools | General Requests from the contact options. Selecting Opt out of Training Site Data Refresh will display the opt-out form.
Although Institutions can opt out of the training site data refresh, they cannot opt out of training site version releases, which are required for the HelioCampus release process.
Production Sites
Production site releases occur for all Institutions one month after the training site release at 3:00 AM EST. The production release date depends on the Institution’s group assignment, either Group A or Group B.
⚠️ To act on feedback faster, the platform production release changed from bimonthly to monthly. Beginning with the 3.118 release, Institutions no longer have a group assignment and instead share a single production release date.
