Assignment linking creates “links” or relationships between key assignments (e.g., student work, rubric criteria*, individual quiz questions*) and learning and accreditation outcomes and competencies. Assignment linking allows Instructors and Program Coordinators to support assessment efforts by capturing direct assessment data for existing key assignments and connecting them to outcomes and standards to improve student learning. Program Assessment requires configuring a curriculum map and mapping Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) to one or more courses.

CLO assessment does not require configuring a curriculum map, and Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) can be assessed individually within the platform if the Enable Course Outcome (CLO) Assessment for Mapped Courses setting is enabled via Program Settings.
