The Survey Results page provides administrators with a centralized place to review course evaluation feedback as soon as responses are submitted. From this page, users can view results by Organizational Hierarchy or by instructor, monitor response rates and metric scores, identify flagged results that need attention, open detailed aggregate or individual result views, and export available data for further analysis.
Considerations

Hierarchy Level: Review whether results are being viewed by Institution hierarchy or by Instructor, since available data and aggregation levels may differ.

Submitted Responses: Results appear only for course sections that have received survey responses.

Release Thresholds: Instructor access depends on the survey reaching Completed status and meeting the configured minimum respondent threshold.

Instructor Access: Instructors do not access results from the Survey Results page; they access released course-section results from Action Items, the My Course Evaluations widget, email notifications, or the Course Section Homepage > Evaluation Results page.

Export Options: When exporting, users should distinguish between exporting the Survey Results page itself and exporting actual course evaluation results from the Results menu.
Results can be viewed by Institution hierarchy or by Instructor, depending on the user's role and permissions (1). The Institution view organizes results by hierarchy level, including Institution, College, Department, Course, and Course Section, each of which can be expanded (2). A Flag Thresholds control allows users to identify results that fall below configured metric or response-rate thresholds. Rows that meet the flag criteria are identified using icon and text indicators. Each row with available responses includes a Results button (4) that opens the detailed aggregate or individual results view while preserving the user's place in the results tree. Rows also include an export options menu when results are available (5), allowing users to download aggregate or individual results in CSV or Excel format.
The Instructor view provides search tools for locating specific instructors by name, email, or course code (1), along with an alphabetical jump bar for quickly moving through the instructor list. Expanding an instructor row displays the associated course sections beneath that instructor (2), allowing users to review instructor-level and section-level metrics in the same view. Each instructor and course section row displays the applicable metric score, response rate, and available Results actions so users can quickly access detailed survey feedback from the instructor-focused hierarchy. These updates provide a more modern, responsive, and accessible survey results experience, making it easier for Institutions to review results across hierarchy levels, identify areas needing attention, and export result data for further analysis.
Viewing Aggregate Results
The Aggregate Results view displays summarized survey responses for the selected hierarchy level. Use this page to review question-level performance, compare response distributions, and identify trends across submitted survey forms without viewing each respondent’s answers individually. Aggregate results are intended for reviewing overall feedback patterns.
The top of the page identifies the hierarchical details for the selected result set (1). Summary tiles provide an at-a-glance view of available results, including the number of responses included in the aggregation and any applicable metric or score information (2). Questions are displayed to review the aggregate response breakdown, including answer choices, counts, percentages, and visual charts where available (3). Expanding the Export menu provides options to export results with or without text and/or open-ended responses (4).
Viewing Individual Results
The Individual Results view displays each submitted survey response included in the hierarchy level. Use this page to review respondent-level feedback, inspect individual answers, and read text or open-ended responses when more detail is needed beyond the summarized aggregate view. Individual results are intended for reviewing the specific survey forms that make up the overall results.
The top of the page identifies the hierarchical details for the selected result set (1). The response selector allows users to move between individual submitted survey forms included in the selected data set (2). Each submitted response is listed separately so users can review the answers provided on an individual survey form (3). Use the Export menu to download individual results when further review or analysis is needed (4).
