Assessment

The Assessment menu is the foundation for outcomes assessment and results. With these functionalities, Institutions can define what they are assessing (outcomes and rubrics), assess real learning experiences (programs/courses/assignments), and then track progress and results to take action with confidence. These platform pages work together to support the full assessment process from start to finish.

Outcomes Library

The Outcomes Library stores all outcomes, excluding PLO or CLO levels; this includes outcomes for Institutions, Colleges, Departments, External (Accreditor), Administrative Divisions, and Administrative Units. Outcomes can be grouped into outcome sets, which can be associated with programs and related to Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) or mapped directly to courses and Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs). Outcome sets can also be included in Data Collection for assessment planning and reporting. Utilization of the Outcomes Library is limited to Institution, College, and Department Admins. Learn more.

Programs

Programs can be added to the platform via a one-time import during implementation or created manually within the platform post-implementation. Programs connect outcomes to the places where students actually demonstrate learning. When programs are set up cleanly, it’s much easier to identify what’s working, what isn’t, and where to intervene. Learn more.

Assessment Manager

The Assessment Manager is the operational command center for managing and monitoring assessments over time, tracking progress, and addressing gaps. Institutions can quickly understand what’s underway, what’s stalled, and where follow-up is needed. Learn more.

Rubric Criteria Library

The Rubric Criteria Library is used to create and manage standardized rubric criteria that can be reused across rubrics for consistent scoring and reporting. Centralizing criteria helps Institutions align language, reduce duplicate setup work, and support more reliable assessment results across programs, courses, and terms. Learn more.

Key Assignment Designer

Key assignments are reusable templates aligned with specific objectives, thereby improving grading and feedback efficiency. By incorporating rubrics and milestones, key assignments help to clarify expectations and progress for students and instructors. Key assignments help to standardize assessment across courses, ensuring consistent evaluation of learning outcomes. They also facilitate data collection on student performance, helping institutions track progress over time and make informed decisions about curriculum adjustments. Learn more.

Assignment Linking Manager

The Assignment Linking Manager allows administrative users to create links between course section assignments and outcomes in a central location, connecting assignments (where evidence is produced) to outcomes/rubric criteria (what’s being measured). Learn more.
