The Syllabus Defaults page allows Administrators, Course Coordinators, or Course Designers to add syllabus template items for a course, which are then cascaded to the course syllabus for the course section. This page can be utilized by navigating to the Course Homepage and selecting Syllabus Defaults from the left-hand menu.
Product Tip
Syllabus defaults do not automatically cascade to associated course sections until the defaults are cascaded and saved to the section syllabi. After adding defaults, the section syllabi must first be edited to cascade the syllabus defaults to the section. The section syllabi can then be saved to include the cascaded defaults. To edit a section syllabi, navigate to Course Section Homepage > Course Syllabus. Learn more.
