The Educational Experiences page categorizes a program's plan of study and aligns with reporting parameters. Once a program has been assessed, reporting capabilities will provide insight into assessment results for educational experiences in required categories.
Product Tip
Once a program is published, edits can no longer be made unless the program is revised via the Program Homepage. When revising programs, assessments, or data collections will continue to use the current version of a program and will not reflect any edits until the program is republished via the Program Homepage. Add Educational Experiences
When adding courses to programs for CLO assessment, the CLOs should not be included in any curriculum maps. If a CLO is mapped to an outcome in a program, the CLO will be unavailable for CLO assessment.

To associate courses or co-curricular activities with a program, navigate to Program Homepage > Educational Experiences and click +Add Category.

Once a category has been added, the title can be changed by editing the category.

Educational experiences can be added to a category by selecting Add Experience.

Search for and select educational experiences (1). An enhanced search can be opened by clicking the magnifying glass (2). Only experiences in Published status will display for selection.

When using the enhanced search, search functionality is available, and clicking the Filters option allows specific filters to be applied (1). Once filters have been applied, they will display below the search bar and can be removed individually or in bulk. After courses are selected (2), click Update Selection (3).

Once experiences have been selected, they can be removed if necessary (1). Clicking Save Experiences (2) will add the selected experiences to the category.
Edit or Delete a Category
Educational experience categories can be edited or deleted when programs are in Draft or In Revision status.

Navigate to Program Homepage > Educational Experiences. Expand the Action menu for a category, then select Edit Category or Delete Category.

By editing a category, the name can be changed. If Delete Category is selected, the deletion is permanent, although historical data will be retained for analytic purposes.
Changing Category Association
Educational experiences can be categorized differently when programs are in Draft or In Revision status.

Navigate to Program Homepage > Educational Experiences. Expand the Action menu for an experience and select Move Experience.

The current category the experience is associated with will display (1) and be selected by default in the category selection section (2). By selecting a new category (2) and clicking Save (3), the selected experience will be moved from the current category to the newly selected one.
Update Educational Experiences
When program educational experiences are associated with outdated course versions due to course revision, the Educational Experiences page will display an error.
Program educational experiences can be updated while programs are in In Revision status. By expanding the Action menu and selecting Update Version (1), experiences can be updated individually. When multiple experiences are out of date, Update All (2) can be clicked to update all out-of-date experiences in all categories.
