Survey Participants

Once a survey starts and transitions from Pending status to In Progress status, which occurs at midnight upon the Survey Start date, the Survey Participants page displays the participants who will be surveyed. Before a survey starts, this page will not display any participants; instead, it will display a notification stating when the page will be populated. The included date is the start date inherited from the associated survey schedule or the Survey Instance Settings page.

Search and filter functionality. If filters have been applied, they will display beside the search field and can be removed by clicking the X.

Provides a hyperlink to access the course section in which the participant is enrolled.

  • Active: The survey is associated with a partial term and is not available yet to survey participants.

  • In Progress: The survey form is available to survey participants.

  • Completed: The survey form is no longer available to survey participants.

The submission date will be displayed once a participant has submitted their survey form. The Submitted column will display a green checkmark to indicate that a survey form has been submitted and a grey checkmark to indicate that the survey form has not yet been submitted.

The Survey Participants page can be exported to PDF, CSV, or Excel format or printed.

Survey forms can be previewed, or login-as functionality can be utilized by administrators to log in to the platform as a survey participant. Additionally, if a survey form has been submitted, Unsubmit can be selected to unsubmit the survey form. Learn more about submitting survey forms.
